Charles E. Burgin is the senior partner at the Dameron Burgin law firm, in Marion, North Carolina.  His principal area of practice is defense of medical and business cases.  He is past president of the North Carolina Bar Association.  He is also a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.  Burgin received his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1961 and his L.L.B. degree from Duke University in 1964.  He is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America, and is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court.
